Speaker 1:

Are you saying? You faked with me yeah.

Speaker 3:

I just can't say oh.

Speaker 1:

Oh, oh, so cool, I can't wrong now you're single.

Speaker 3:

What do you know about sexual relations? Is it true that if you don't use it, you use it? I'm a little worried about being a slut. You're listening to the Come With Us podcast Talking the good, the kinky and the ugly. Here are your hosts, beth and Erin.

Speaker 1:

Hey there, all you holes and poles. I am obviously not Beth Darling, I am Erin, and usually you don't hear from me until about 2-3 minutes into an episode. But welcome to Come With Us podcast. Beth actually had a family emergency so she couldn't be here today, but you're stuck with me. I think we're gonna have fun, because today we're going to talk about sexy holiday stuff, and with that I'm gonna bring in Sarah Tomcheson, who is the resident sexual wellness advisor for Love Honey.

Speaker 1:

Now, love Honey is an awesome website. They've got all kinds of sexy props, outfits, lube, anything that you think might enhance the sexy fun that you and your partner are having, or even having by yourself. Love Honey's got it. I found them years ago and, not gonna lie, wife and I have spent a good paycheck or two on Love Honey's stuff. Sarah, welcome to the show. Thank you for being here with us. Thank you for having me. So we'll get to the main course of this in a little bit, because Love Honey was awesome enough to come up with an advent calendar, and we will get into that in a little bit. But right now I just wanted you to talk about your job. I mean, your actual title is resident sexual wellness advisor.

Speaker 1:

That is awesome so if you wouldn't mind like talk about how you got involved, how you started with Love, Honey and all that stuff and just let our listeners know you know all about your job.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, I have been slinging sex toys since 2007, so I am a bit of a sex toy evangelist, of course, working for e-commerce and retail businesses. You know you wear lots of hats, you do lots of things, so I do content creation for Love Honey. I support marketing efforts, pr, and I am a certified sex educator. So that's where the sexual wellness advising comes from. I've been teaching sex ed to adults Pleasure based sex ed for over 15 years, so I am really invested in the ways that pleasure can improve people's lives as a whole. You know we can reduce our stress, we can increase our confidence by having more access to pleasure. So that's a little bit about me.

Speaker 1:

Awesome. Well, yeah, that's kind of what we do here. We talk about love, laughter, relationships, sexy fun, all kinds of stuff With you know our audience are mostly male, but we kind of think with the things between our legs from time to time. And it doesn't lead you down a bad path if you control it and you have some fun with it.

Speaker 1:

But yeah, I mean, you said 2007 and I started thinking. Our audience knows my wife is the only one I've ever had sex with. Not, of course, we didn't wait until we were married. But long story short, and it was what? 2007? 2010, I guess for people who want to know way more details than they are, who are going to get more details than they want to know. But yeah so, and when we started dating we'd known each other for years. Once we became sexually active we kind of jumped into the whole like okay, what else is out there? Like toy market? Foray pretty quickly.

Speaker 2:

So you've seen lots of changes in sex toys over those 13 years, I take it.

Speaker 1:

Unbelievable amounts and actually Beth and I met because she had a store here in Houston. I was working on a radio station in Houston where she was doing a weekly segment and one day my wife and I were driving through the the heights in Houston A little neighborhood that the shop was in and I was like, hey, I want you to meet this really cool woman. Well, I've met a couple of times and brought her in there. You know Her and Beth hit it off immediately and then come COVID, we started talking about stuff and my wife, of all people, who is one of the most shy people ever, who doesn't even listen to this. When friends listen to it and they try to talk to her about it, she puts her hair, her fingers in her ears is like nope, nope, I don't want.

Speaker 1:

I. It's fine that you know it, but don't talk to me about it. She looked at both of us and said why don't you guys do a podcast together?

Speaker 2:

So you know that's the origin story Right right, right right right here we are.

Speaker 1:

She said this pre-COVID and then we started doing things like fall of 2019. We recorded a couple episodes which I don't think we've released. I think we recorded them and then looked at each other and went, yeah, this is kind of rough, we need to know the design cat and things.

Speaker 1:

I think one day we end up we probably will maybe for like a fifth year anniversary. You can just hear how awkward it kind of was to start out. But yeah, then, you know, covid hit and we all started looking at each other. We're like, alright, well, there's two of us. And then we added Tina, who was our old co-host for a while.

Speaker 1:

So, yeah, I've been around seeing sex toys and, as Beth calls them, sexy props because she hates the word toys I like toys, because I call anything that I can spend a lot of money on and get pleasure out of toys four-wheeler toy, boat toy, all kinds of stuff like that. So I have no problem with using the word sex toys. So what did you do prior to getting to love honey? You said you've been slinging sex toys since 2007.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's art. You know it's funny. I I feel like I got dragged in by a friend I was doing. I was in a performance group, a burlesque group, in my early 20s, and one of the Folks in my group is like you know, what you would be really good at is Teaching folks about their bodies and sex, and so I was like you know, I'm gonna try this out, and I got my training. There's a retailer, a nationwide retailer, called Beyblant, which is a women focus sex toy store, and they also have a peer training and education program there and that's where I got my start. And you know, once, I have a background in theater, I grew up in the theater, that's what I majored in in college, and there's this kind of Amazing thing that happens with sex ed, where it can be performative, but you're also really helping people, and so it was just this beautiful marriage of things that matter to me. And you know, that's where it all started.

Speaker 1:

Awesome that. Yeah, I I wasn't in the theater part, I was in the choir part growing up.

Speaker 1:

So, and you know, being on a stage, being in front of people, a lot of eyes being on me, it never really bothered me. It actually kind of fueled me and gave me that like excitement that you know you get when you're you're performing, yeah, and I carry that into radio. And I was like this is even cooler because I can say anything, do anything and I don't have a million people looking at me with immediate hatred or looking at giving me an immediate feedback, like you have to wait for the feedback and radio. And then that turned into podcasting and, yeah, I, as you can see, I like to talk and they've been told since I was a kid hey, you'd be really good to talk because you know, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1:

So, love honey, this is the what third year you guys have been doing advent calendars, or second.

Speaker 2:

Oh, yes, yeah, we've been doing advent calendar for a few years now, so we've honed the products that are in there. We were the first ones to come out with a sexy advent calendar and you know, love honey has been around for 20 years, okay, and one of the things that I think love honey is most successful at is making their own toys. So we've got a lot of expertise in manufacturing and producing really just high quality toys that work incredibly well with for couples, for solo play and and so, with this depth of product selection, an advent calendar just makes a lot of sense for us because we've got a little bit of Everything, and I know that you said that your audience is mostly male. I really think that the advent calendars are such a nice gift for To give your partner. It's not only awesome for self exploration, but there are a number of things in there that couples can use together, and we've got a few different styles, but you've got one of our 12 days with you.

Speaker 1:

Yep. So I grew up Doing advent calendars as part of like a really a religious countdown to Christmas and as a child.

Speaker 1:

You had an advent calendar and it was a different little piece of chocolate in each day. Yeah, and starting December 1st, you know that was. That was the way of keeping a child kind of satiated until, because they knew, oh my god, and in just a few weeks Santa's gonna come and I'm gonna get so many presents or, you know, hanukkah's gonna start. I don't know if you have children do that. That would be actually a good question for Jess, or I mean for up. Sorry, that would be a good question for Beth, because I don't know if they did that. I don't think they did, but as a Catholic kid being raised, that was what we did. Is you count down to Christmas with a little advent calendar? And then the first time I saw him, I think was three years ago, I showed my wife and I was like this is like the coolest marketing thing ever, because what person doesn't like still counting down? To like like a countdown for anything fun related is awesome. Like people do count, like I've seen people on you know, through my wife's Pinterest and stuff like that, who do like fancy countdown Stuff for vacations and stuff like that. But any big event or any Anything you're counting down to gets better when you add in like little pieces to kind of build up that drumroll to get to it. And it's just, I remember seeing it and being like this is awesome. My wife was like, okay, cool, let's get one. Yeah, let's go. So yeah, I'll show every.

Speaker 1:

If you're watching on YouTube, you can see it. If you're listening, I will describe it as best I can. It is a rectangular shape box, kind of like the size you would get clothes in. For the most part it's it's long, it's fairly wide and it's a couple inches deep. But it's red. It's got a giant heart on it which is the love honey logo, and then when you open it up, like Sarah said, I have a 12 day one. Well, let's see if my green screen will let me. Oh, no, no you're getting little glimpses of the doors.

Speaker 1:

So yeah, let me see I can. I could turn off my green screen right now. It's just everybody's gonna freak out about what's in my background because my We'll blur the background right, that works. So Not that. Now it's blurring the doors, so that is what it would look like. This one, like you said, is a 12 day one, so I've got all the little doors on their number one through 12, which is really awesome. And what I thought we would be fun to do is and I know Beth wanted to do this too is just kind of go through and Unpack one of these and talk about all the little fun surprises that are in them. Yep, so let's do it.

Speaker 1:

Oh, you know what? I'll turn this over to you because you're the expert and I have a feeling you had a big say in how they designed and how. So we will go on you where you can. Either just we could start at one and work our way through, or you can call them out in Specific numbers and I'll go through and we'll take things out and start. You know, not playing with them so much because we get kicked off of YouTube, but we'll talk about what it is.

Speaker 2:

Yep, why don't you start with door number one? Because, the thing that is really nice about the advent calendar is it is designed to take you on a journey, and I love that you Mention kind of the nostalgia of advent calendars and the playfulness and the anticipation. So what is it behind door? One you can use with a number of things that are in the calendar cool whoo, all right.

Speaker 1:

So behind door number one, if you're playing at home or if you're just learning because you want to get one for yourself Sorry, spoiler alert you will find a bullet vibrator. I Know what these are yes. So, yeah, this one actually looks to be rechargeable, which is even better because finding watch batteries back in the early mid 2010s was a pain in the neck.

Speaker 2:

Yes, yeah, rechargeable toys are great. This is a rechargeable bullet and it's multi speed. You can use it on its own, but it also is compatible with a number of shapes that are in the advent calendar. So you can use it basically to create lots of different toys, because it's gonna be able to make those silicone shapes vibrate. So it's an exciting thing to open. You're like oh, look at this, we got a vibrator. We can use it together. I can use it solo. And then, as you go through the calendar, you're gonna see that we've got a number of things that you can insert that powerful bullet into. So if you go to door number two, I'll show you one of those shapes.

Speaker 1:

We put number one back because I know I'm gonna put them, my wife is gonna come home and be like hey, there's sex toys all over the Number two, okay, cool. So I'm not gonna use the actual name for it because you're better at describing the name, so I'll let you, while I just hold this, I'll you know prices, right? Host Assistant. While you just talk about what I've got in my hands for door number two.

Speaker 2:

Yes, so you have a beautifully shaped red G-spot dildo and it can be used internally. You can slip the vibrator, the bullet vibrator, into the base of the dildo, and the thing that I love about Insertable toys is that you can use them in lots of different ways. So the nice little curved shape that you've got on the head of that dildo can be a great way to warm up the body, because it just fits nicely in the folds and it can be used externally and then Can also be used internally for any kind of exploration that you're interested in.

Speaker 1:

I will also say the material it's made out of is soft, like it's awesome, like I don't know what it is about certain Sex toys, that the material you feel it, you're like, oh, that's kind of rubbery, that's weird. This is what I.

Speaker 2:

Did I?

Speaker 1:

yeah, it is and it it reminds me again. Let's call back to my history, because this is what all I do petting a dolphin at SeaWorld when I was a kid like I feel like you're gonna be like weird and sticky and everything, but they're actually really soft like cuz.

Speaker 1:

They have the Wet on them and they were really soft and smooth. This is soft and silky and smooth and, like I showed everybody who is watching, yeah, there's a good hole that will fit Not only the bullet, but if you decide you know you want to use it on your partner, my, the finger of the average man will fit inside too. So you have a little bit better control of what you're doing versus, you know, doing it by you, like wrapping your hand around it.

Speaker 2:

I love that you've used toys before, because clearly you are creative, and that's the thing that I love about sex toys, pleasure props, pleasure products, whatever you want to call them is that they're a really fun invitation to get creative and to get playful, and so that's really what the advent calendar is about, and number Door number three is a great example of this sweet All right.

Speaker 1:

So I should probably get a little bit closer to the microphone while I'm opening these doors so they can hear exactly because it it's noticeable that these are, these are shut and locked in for a reason. So number three as as I sit here in my hand talking to a primarily auditory audience, is very soft, it's very red. It's again silky, a different type of silky, but this is a blindfold. Yes because it's, like I said, soft and silky, but it's got the oh Velvety on the inside. You know what? Sure, why not?

Speaker 2:

I'm put it on.

Speaker 1:

Let's see if I can get this over a hat, a baseball cap and headphones. Yeah, that's actually a really good blindfold too, because I have it on, my eyes are open and I just bumped into the microphone. I can't see anything. This is, and it's nice and soft and you can Blink your eyes without it, you know, pushing in. There have been a lot of blindfolds that I've tried that push so much pressure on your eyes. It hurts at the end.

Speaker 2:

So yeah, but yeah, this is a nice padded blindfold which actually does have, because you know, some blindfolds. You can kind of see down between your like the bridge of your nose and you're like I'm gonna pretend like I can't see, but actually I kind of know what's going on. And a padded blindfold Actually really does take away your sense of sight. And the thing that's really great about this, from a pleasure and Sensation standpoint, is that when you take away one of the senses, you heighten the other. So, particularly in a context where you and your partner have good Communication and there's trust between the two of you, introducing a blindfold Brings in that extra element of surprise. So all of the sensations that you explore or perhaps you like Engaging in dirty talk with a partner all of that gets heightened when you take away the sense of sight. So it's a really fun way to just kind of turn the volume up on the kinds of play that you already really enjoy.

Speaker 1:

Yep, and you know I was not the biggest comic book nerd, but I was that kind of was when I was a kid, daredevil being one of them, who was a kid, who was blinded and then could, he could see by Hearing and all you know, when you take a, like you said, when you take away one, sense the other four kind of compensate and it's, it's very interesting. I remember being blindfolded as a kid and, like you said, you can Kind of look down and like see what's going on around you. So you're not really because I don't like jump scares, I don't like people popping out of nowhere, I hate horror movies because of that stuff. Mm-hmm, I learned that at very young age and so anytime somebody would like blindfold me for a surprise party or pin the tail on the Donkey or anything like that, it was really easy to adjust my eyes so I could see out the bottom of it. I had that one on. I had no, I like I couldn't see my note like.

Speaker 1:

No, if you cross your eyes, you can see your nose. I couldn't do that. So it's, it's really soft, it works really well and if you haven't tried blindfold play with your partner, I highly recommend it because it's, and it doesn't even have to be sexual play. It can be just an intimate act of feeding your partner food that you know they don't know exactly what you brought home for dinner, but you know you leave it somewhere, leave it in the walkway and go tell them put on a blindfold and sit at the table and I'm gonna feed you and it heightens all kinds of it. So not only does it heighten your hearing, your feeling of you know the actual feeling of your skin being touched and stuff like that, but in the smell, the taste, all kinds of stuff it's the human body is very unique, very weird how you can take away one of those things and everything gets a little bit better and more intense.

Speaker 2:

Yep, I love that. Okay, we're gonna jump around a little bit because we're kind of talking about couples play. So let's go to number eight, because there is a game in the advent calendar number eight.

Speaker 1:

Now number eight sits a little bit smaller then One, two and three so far. So I had to guess. If you took like a dollar bill and folded it in half and then folded it in half again, that's probably the size of number eight. And I can see why Because now in my hand, as a guy who just went on vacation to Vegas recently, I have a pair of vests in my hand and they are not your typical six-sided dice.

Speaker 2:

Do you want to roll them? And?

Speaker 1:

six numbered dice.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, you want to roll them and see what you get.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, let me see if this is gonna make noise on my on my desktop. But we'll see how this goes. All right, so I got a question mark oh, Okay and I got what looks like the bullet.

Speaker 2:

Yes, okay, so this these dice have some of the Toys and activities from the advent calendar and then you get a length of time or a suggestion. Like you know, the question mark means you get to decide. And the thing that is nice about games and I think sometimes they get, I don't know, undervalued in the world of Sex toys because they don't have motors and a whole bunch of power behind them, but sometimes you just need an idea or something to jump start play. And this is the nice thing is it kind of takes the pressure off of everybody. You know, I don't know if you've had this with your wife or you both like, of course, want to connect, but it's just like getting it started is a little hard, I would imagine, especially after 13 years. So games can just be that fun way to be like, well, we're gonna leave it up to the dice to decide and then you get to take it wherever you want to go.

Speaker 1:

It is. It is fun. Dice like these are a blast because, concentrally, of course, everybody's got their limits. Everybody's got things that you say no, that we say no to. Beth and I are kind of two proponents of that. You know, do things that you and your comfortable your, you and your partner are comfortable with and agree on. Just because you don't agree on it right now doesn't mean you won't agree on it in the future. Absolutely yeah, dice like these are so much fun and yeah. So I showed everybody watching on YouTube the question mark. But yes, there is a two, there's a 15 that I just had upside down, there's a 10 which is a lot of fun, and then just, I'm not gonna show the toys and the options that are on the other die right now, because That'll spoil the surprise of some of the rest of the calendar that we're about to dig into. But yeah, dice Do give you that way of playing without you know.

Speaker 1:

So I want to say kind of like guilt, like oh well you know, last time we focused on you know the position you wanted to do or the toy you wanted to use. Now it's a shit. It's just the way the dice rolled. Yeah you can't get mad at me if you get a thing that says hey, you know you have to go down on me for ten minutes because the dice did that. I didn't.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah well, and imagine you had rolled 15 minutes and the bullet vibrator right. Most likely Using that bullet vibrator in a targeted way is going to get someone off fairly quickly. But now if you have 15 minutes where you've got to find a way to use it like all over your partner's body or each other's body, then all of a sudden you've got a real game going right, exactly yeah it breeds that creativity.

Speaker 1:

Totally talking about earlier, yeah, you know, using any type of toy for 15 minutes, if you would actually sit down and think about 15 minutes straight Not 15 minutes You're, you know, doing something at the house. Not 15 minutes, you're talking to a friend, 15 minutes when it's just you and your partner and you have to entertain them with one thing only that's that's a long time. Yeah, that automatically makes you start going outside the box and going Okay, well, you know. Yeah, this vibrator usually, you know, works really great on her clit. Okay, cool, try other body parts, try nipples, try tongue, try ears, try all kinds of stuff. And, as Beth said, taught me years ago for a good vibrator. You want to know how it feels and I know we've talked about this in the past. Put it on the tip of your nose because it tickles and it gives you the sensation of what it actually feels like down there, but it also it's just an interesting feeling.

Speaker 2:

Okay, I am curious if you and your wife have used what is in number 10 number 10.

Speaker 1:

Okay, so this will be the fifth door of 12. We've used five out of our Four out of the four so far. This Is Okay. Here we go, something that we have not used.

Speaker 1:

So, what you can hear jiggling in my hands right now and, by the way, on this advent calendar, every time you open a door, the backside of the door tells you exactly what you've got in your hand. So when you open it, if you open it and you think, oh man, this is gonna intimidate me, I'm not gonna know what to do, or there's a little instruction thing right there telling you exactly what you've got to play with. But in my hand and as you can see on YouTube and here are nipple clamps.

Speaker 2:

Yes, yeah, so nipple clamps can be used on all bodies and they are usually adjustable, and so you can gauge the intensity of the firmness based on your partner's preference or your preference. And the idea with nipple clamps is, I mean, they're fun there. The aesthetic of them is really sexy to a lot of people, but it actually brings blood flow to the nipples, and some people don't know that the nipples are erectile tissue, just like the penis, the clitoris, and so it, this erectile tissue, is really responsive to arousal. But nipple clamps are your little cheat sheet sort of you know. They bring the blood flow in quickly and then when you take them off, you've increased sensitivity of the nipples. So it's a really fun way to warm the body up and then give lots of attention To your your own or your partner's nipples for some really increased sensation, yep, and I don't again.

Speaker 1:

I have never used them before. I don't know if they all have this little tiny jingle bell on here, but or if this is just a Christmas thing. Yeah, but I like it so.

Speaker 1:

To hear your partner coming down the hall exactly so being a version or a newbie to nipple clamps it. I'm trying to figure out a way to describe it, but it's basically If you unwound part of a paper clip and let two of the legs go out and kind of spread and then there's an actual little Washer on there that moves up and down to determine how tight I'm guessing.

Speaker 1:

Mm-hmm and so basically the the interesting thing to me, or anybody else who's not using nipple clamps, people who do all the time, or any Any of our friends in the King community are gonna go. God, aaron, you're such an idiot sometimes. Uh, basically, would you put the nipple Like in between the two or around in this little like eyelet fishing part?

Speaker 2:

So you see at the ends that there those little rubber, red rubber stoppers, yes, so that you're gonna put in a little there, because it's gonna be just a little bit more comfortable, it's really sensitive tissue, right, yeah, so now that's not to say that someone who's either a little mean or just really likes more intense sensations Might not stick the nipple into the metal part of the nipple clamp. Certainly you can do that, but they're designed with the little bumpers.

Speaker 1:

Okay, cool, that makes more sense because, see, I'm sitting, you're holding them like kind of like more of a chef would have like oh hey, these are like actual grips so I can use these tongs. But no, that that makes more sense and yeah, that would probably feel a lot better to me at least. Then, just cold steel that, yeah, for me yeah.

Speaker 2:

I mean, everyone has different taste. Oh okay, number 11, 11. All right, let's see, this is also something that some folks perhaps have not tried before.

Speaker 1:

Let's see. So as I open number 11, whoo, you know what? Just to give everybody an idea of the way that they work. When you open the door to number 11 spoiler alert you have anal beads and it says these silicone anal beads feature a sturdy finger loop so you can remove them at the point of climax for spine tingling satisfaction Compatible with bullet vibrator behind door number one for safety and user instructions, see the included leaflets, which, by the way, yes, there are two little books that are attached here so you can learn even more about what you've got in your hands. But, as I show everybody on YouTube, if it'll not blend it with my green screen, yeah anal beads.

Speaker 2:

Yes, and that loop down at the bottom. You can put your finger in there. You could put the bullet vibrator in there, but it's also meant as a stopper. So this is one thing for folks to know who are gonna play with toys. Analy is that we've got these two sphincter muscles in the anus. One of them is voluntary, one of them is involuntary, and the process of becoming aroused and building up to orgasm is Actually involves a lot of contraction and release of muscles throughout the whole you know genital region. So when someone becomes really aroused, these muscles start contracting and releasing and it can create suction. So you want to make sure that anything that you use analy has a base on it, because it acts as a little stopper if there is some suction from these muscles.

Speaker 2:

And anal beads are Really a fun starter toy because they can just help to give you a sense of what the sensation feels like. You can try one bead. You do want to make sure that you use lubricant with anything that you're gonna use analy, because the ass does not self-looper. There is a little bit of a mucus lining in the rectum but it does wear away with any friction and so you get these lubed up. You can insert one and you can like slowly build up to the next one. And I do think that anal beads are probably best known for that idea of like pulling them out at the point of Climax. But you can actually do some light penetration in and out with them and for some folks, because the anus, that external portion of you know, the whole area is really where all the nerve endings are, just that feeling of you know, the in and out kind of Ridges Just can feel Really arousing and even orgasmic for some folks.

Speaker 1:

Yep, and just like the G-spot toy that I opened up much earlier. Same type of silky, soft, smooth texture, same material. It's awesome. It's actually kind of fun to just like wiggle, like between your fingers, like put your finger. But yes, as Beth and I and Tina, who had given her tale of sex, sent me to the ER, kind of thing, yeah, use something with a flared base anytime you play with your butt, your partner's butt, anything like that, because and I'll clue you in on this they used a bullet vibrator on a boyfriend of hers at one point in time and just like you said.

Speaker 1:

Is a giant vacuum. At times it takes it away, yes, and if?

Speaker 2:

you've got it nicely lubed up, it makes it really slick, and so small toys I mean it's you know. If it's happened to you, there's no reason to be embarrassed about it. We don't get good sex ed in this country, right Like there's no way to know until it happens. So you want to make sure you use a base, and also that material is silicone, which some folks have maybe not heard this term porous versus non porous in relationship to sex toys before. But non porous materials like silicone, any kind of metal, certain kinds of medical grade plastics it means that there's no pores in the material to absorb things like bacteria. So for some folks Engaging an anal play, one of the big hurdles that they have to overcome is the cleanliness question. The thing that's great about using a silicone toy is you can totally disinfect it and it is 100% non porous.

Speaker 1:

There you go. And so, yeah, if that has been your your big hiccup, there you go. You don't have to worry about it. Just, there are certain things you could do. Keep clean to begin with. You know shower wipe correctly if you're gonna play. Beth has talked about before, animals are something that you can buy at your local grocery store and you can do it and clean Yourself out a little bit if you're gonna have like a really intense but play session. So do that.

Speaker 2:

Okay, you ready for the star of the show number 12.

Speaker 1:

I am number 12. Let's see that leaves. One Was there. I've got what three left that are gonna be hidden mysteries to me until right before Christmas. I like this yeah, oh Wait. No, I opened the wrong one, never. Oh, seven, I didn't see what was in there. I closed my eyes so I didn't see what was in there. Number 12. Oh, number 12 is a giant rose. It is like an actual flower. Same same silicone material, but oh, yeah, I should probably read this love honey rose. Clitoral suction stimulator. So rather than reading and boring everybody with my monotone instructional voice, sarah, why don't you tell me what I'm holding in my hand?

Speaker 2:

So this toy became tick tock Instagram social media famous last year, and it's because it's so dang cute and it is. It has pleasure air technology in it. So if you've never heard of pleasure air before, it is an incredible Sex toy development. It's used in the womanizer toys and it is different from suction in that it uses air pressure to stimulate the clitoris, which means that it's not making any direct contact with the clitoris. So, unlike other suction toys that can kind of create some numbness, pleasure air is designed to stimulate without numbing and it Simulates the sensation of oral sex. So there has not been a toy on the market before now that really does that well. And the love honey rose is just so cute. You can leave it out on your bedside and you just don't have to worry about, you know, anyone being shocked and appalled. It's waterproof so you can take it into the bath or shower. It's just a really nice Um sensation and just a very well-designed toy. So it's understandable why it was all the rage when it came out.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, and I mean eight, it's a giant rose. So, like you said, you could leave this out and your friend, who doesn't you know, you know you don't have those kind of intimate conversations about your each other sex lives Walks in and sees it and goes, oh okay, they think it's like a decoration or something or like an air diffuser or anything like that. It is so Non-descript, non-offending, like you look at it and you're like, okay, that's cool, it's a, it's a rose, and then, when you you know, close the doors behind you or you don't even have to close the doors behind you. If you don't want, do whatever you want. But yeah, this Seen these before, bought them before. I know my wife has one. I don't know if it's this one, I don't remember because she's the one who bought it but yeah, they are Amazing little toys to play with. So guys, especially If you're looking for now, don't make sex toys the only thing you get her for Christmas or whatever don't do that.

Speaker 1:

but yeah, this, this being the final, the coup de gras of a 12-day advent calendar through love, honey, a very well done, because Any woman that has seen it on tiktok or seen it on Twitter or seen it on red, it goes, oh, what's that? And then from emails we've gotten and you know my wife's experience they get it and they go oh, oh, okay, cool, this is gonna go like right next to the number one toy I had for a long time and it's gonna sit right there and one in one A for me. Yes.

Speaker 2:

And you know I've heard a lot of folks describe using this toy as well to I mean, the orgasm gap, I'm sure is something that you've talked about on the show, and it's a really nice toy to integrate into couples play. You know, if you are kind of struggling with both of you being able to achieve orgasms, like not certainly this can be used solo, and I encourage folks to use toys on their own as well as with their partner. But it is really easy to bring into your couples play and there is actually a pleasure air toy that has been designed for penises as well. I don't know if you've heard about it, but I'm gonna just share it because I've not.

Speaker 2:

I've heard that you have a lot of penis havers that listen to the show. So it's called the arc wave ion and it is a masturbation sleeve where the pleasure air targets the underside of the head of the penis, the frenulum, and it, I mean, is also a really popular toy. So you know, you can get an advent calendar for your partner and pick yourself up a arc wave ion while you're at it.

Speaker 1:

I like that. That's going on my on my Christmas list now because, well, I've gotten asked questions a million times hey, what do you want for Christmas? Hey, do you want for cool?

Speaker 3:

I know what I'm putting on mine, so we won't open.

Speaker 1:

the other three will leave those as surprises for everybody else. But love honeycom, correct, yes for it. I mean what? We're still a week out from Thanksgiving. So, guys, girls, holes, polls, everybody. You have what? Five weeks, five and a half weeks until Christmas. So if you want to do it as an actual Christmas gift, cool, that's awesome. You also can order it now, before it sells out, and you can use it to count down your way to a sexy Christmas with your partner. There's also a 24 day one, correct?

Speaker 2:

There's a 24 day and we release our couples 12 day later in the season. So it just came out, and the reason for that is that we want it to be able to last until Valentine's Day. So there now is a 12 day dream one calendar as well, up on love honeycom and love honeyca, if you happen to have some listeners in Canada.

Speaker 1:

We do. We actually have listeners all over the world, which is was really fun. The first time we sat down and looked at numbers and went oh yeah, we have a lot of listeners in Ireland. We have a lot of listeners in South Africa. We have a lot of listeners all over the place. So it's been Beth and I is kind of joke, but dream to go on a world tour and just do live episodes for fans all across the world who listen to us because we wouldn't be here without any of y'all listening for us.

Speaker 1:

But, yeah, so, sarah Thompson, thank you so much for being here. If you just tuned in on YouTube or anything like that, beth is out, had a family emergency, but rather than doing just two back to back episodes of just Sarah and I, sarah's going to come back in just a couple of weeks when Beth gets everything sorted out, and we will do a whole another thing. Actually, that actually makes a lot of sense. Let's, let's aim for doing this in like January, so we can do it as a primer to Valentine's Day and all that fun stuff.

Speaker 2:

Sounds like a blast.

Speaker 1:

Awesome. Well, thank you so much. Everybody get to love honeycom here. I'll even you know I'll do this on the fly, because I usually do this while Beth is talking, and everything will be in the show notes as well, so you can get it. But if you're watching on YouTube, there's a banner at the bottom love honeycom or love honeyca, depending on where you're located. Get the advent calendar. Get the solo advent calendar. Get the couples advent calendar, Get it all. Have fun, have sexy fun. Sarah, thank you so much for being here with us. Is there anything else you think our listeners should know?

Speaker 2:

going into a sexy holiday season, oh well, aaron, thank you so much for having me, and I think that you know the holidays can be stressful, so make sure that you're making time for pleasure and sneaking away from the family events connecting with your partner, because you know, we all can sometimes find ourselves at the other side of the holidays, just completely frayed, and this is a nice time to not only enjoy family but also settle into some pleasurable intimate experiences with your partner.

Speaker 1:

Exactly, and that's what we want. That's what Beth preaches. I mean, she's got a book right now. You know the five kinds of intimacy. If you don't have it also, maybe throw that in the stocking for your lover. So, thank you for being here. Thank you for everything with us. We love love, honey.
